| Coach Bingham brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience in coaching to the Jefferson County Jets Track Club. Coach Bingham just recently accepted the head track and field coaching position at Missouri Baptist University. Bingham has always found time to work with the Jefferson County Jets Track Club. In the last ten years, he has guided nine Jets athletes to 20 AAU and USATF combined events titles. His latest protégé Sarah Gretzmacher won two consecutive AAU Young Women’s Heptathlon competitions. Sarah also received several post-season honors. She was ranked 2nd in the Heptathlon in the 2003 November Issue of Track and Field News. Sarah also received High School All-American honors. Coach Bingham next protégé Brittany Borman won both the USATF Youth National and USATF J.O’s Youth Girls Pentathlon competition last summer. Brittany has placed in the top four in the AAU combined event for seven consecutive years. She currently holds the AAU Primary National Record in the Triathlon. |
| Coach Bingham is currently the Head Track and Field Coach at Missouri Baptist University. He has coached in many collegiate programs including Lincoln University, Southern Illinois University-Carbondale, University of Missouri, Ohio State University, Missouri Baptist College and Lindenwood University. Coach Bingham is well known for his world wide recruiting abilities. He has brought some of his athletes in from around the globe including West Indies, Africa and Europe to name a few. He is one of the strongest recruiters in the nation. |
| Coach Bingham served as Assistant Head Coach at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO. In just a three-year period Bingham installed a winning tradition. While coaching the Lions, Bingham played a vital role in their success in both cross country and track. As Assistant Head Coach, he trained 289 NAIA national qualifiers, 89 NAIA All-Americans, 151 conference champions and 15 NAIA national champions. In addition his athletes set 56 school records. The 1998-99 season was one of the teams finest seasons on the track. The Men's squad captured the 1998 NAIA Indoor Championship title and finished as national runner-up at both the 1999 NAIA Indoor and Outdoor Championships as well as at the 1998 cross country meet. In addition to these accomplishments, Bingham helped guide the women's team to fifth place at both the 1999 Indoor and the Outdoor National Championships. |
| Before Lindenwood, Coach Vince Bingham served as an assistant at the University of Missouri-Columbia where he trained five Big Eight champions, nine school record holders and three NCAA All-Americans. Following his graduation from Missouri Baptist College in St. Louis, MO began coaching at his alma mater where he turned around the program in five years. He has also coached in the following St. Louis area high schools; Pattonville, Priory, Crystal City and Hillsboro. |
